Naum is back ...

Post by Frank Quisinsky »

Hello,

in the future I am working on a News-Ticker (German language) for the German GM Jörg Hickl (German chess magazine).

http://www.schach-welt.de

Can be found in menu system under:
Spezial / Computerschach / CC, News-Ticker

I need a little bit time for the for myself unkown web system Jörg Hickl used. With time I hope I can add in the future interesting computer chess news. Please have patience.

The first news:
!! Naum is back !!

On Monday this week we made an interesting live interview with GM Georg Meier (in German with around 2.675 ELO the number two). Interesting are the opinions by the grandmaster "Hickl and Meier" about computerchess. Jörg add the interview in his magazine. I will later write a little bit about it.

For the moment I have many things to do with the News-Ticker and other things for the webpage and the chess magazine. In the evening I will add the "schach-welt computer chess ratinglist" on the webpage.

If you like you can look from time to time for computer chess news.

The information are in German language.

Comments by programmer and will add in english too (see the Naum information).

Best
Frank

PS:
Thanks to Aleksander for this exclusive news.
The best start for myself and the new "Computer Chess News-Ticker".
And for sure ... I am happy about the news too :-)

PS: Photo of Naumov: I remember seeing one of his
photos at a Computer Chess competition, probably
a FRC event. Could you please check last years events?

Hi,

I will not translate original comments by others. The most will be in English, clear.

In the past I added all the news for my older pages in English. English isn't my first languange and I have much problems with it.

Furthermore, its a German chess magazine. Perhaps the magazine will be in in the future in English available too, I don't know.

Clear is:
I have for the moment to work in German.

A program called Bablefish if I have the name correctly should be able to translate the entire magazine into English or any other language that you wish. Oh, and the program is free, I think.

Yes, but often the use product such programs, makes languages become as if you have made a tomato out of a banana - or worse.
Fortunately I know enough german to read most.
