I doubt if this is true either, seeing as no major news network has picked up the story that I can find:

So, Chessbase is making multiple April Fools joke posts to confuse us into thinking that only one of them qualify?

Note that "LHC goes online - GM's worried" is an obvious April fools.

A friend working on one of LHC projects told me that they had a successful run at 7tev a couple of days ago. Obv. the Carlsen + Matt Damon story is the joke.
