So the site sponsor does not want any engines "promoted" in CCC that Graham hates, right ?
If that persists, my days as CCC member are counted.

"Promotion" of engines in CCC.
My engine was quite strong till I added knowledge to it.

I do not hope that this is so!Matthias Gemuh wrote:So the site sponsor does not want any engines "promoted" in CCC that Graham hates, right ?

My days would be counted here!
Better then I open a separate board
and then write about chess that I want,
and of course with interesting analyses, etc.

I am since 2000 a CCC member.

I agree with Matthias completely concerning Graham and his opinions. John Karger

It has nothing to do with Graham, so I'm not sure what the deal is.Wayne Lowrance wrote:Good for Mr Banks, I support him.

Mr Banks seems to me to act as a promoter/have implicit faith in at least 3 “deities”.

Mr Banks seems to me to act as a promoter/mouthpiece for at least 3 “deities”........................
2 of those 3 “deities” certainly did not contact the site sponsor to seek for the censorship.

I personally fail to see the problem. The issue of ethics is of considerable importance here - namely the theft of intellectual property -hotly debated to be sure- and a person'(s) lively hood. There is a discussion of the clone engines in other area's of this forum which seems a reasonable solution to me.... Perhaps I am not understanding the problem?

True. It was probably the companies the site sponsor works with.Matthias Gemuh wrote:K I Hyams wrote:http://www.talkchess.com/forum/viewtopi ... 97&t=34801Matthias Gemuh wrote:So the site sponsor does not want any engines "promoted" in CCC that Graham hates, right ?

Re: "Promotion" of engines in CCC.
I assumed that to be the case. You have incorrectly identified the "deities" to whom I was referring. I am fully aware of the views of the other two CCC moderators and neither of them was included in the list.Matthias Gemuh wrote:K I Hyams wrote:http://www.talkchess.com/forum/viewtopi ... 97&t=34801Matthias Gemuh wrote:So the site sponsor does not want any engines "promoted" in CCC that Graham hates, right ?
