Hi Wael,

so you are in group 2.

Group 1:
People which have 32bit OS. This group have no interest on 64bit.

Group 2:
People which used a 64bit OS. This group of people can used 64bit and 32bit.

Group 3:
People which have interest on the fast available hardware and engines only. This group of people tuned, overclocked his PCs, buy each year a new and faster PC and are looking for the best engines only. SMP is important ...

Chess Players:
Group 1 is the main group

People which have interest on computer chess engines:
Group 2 is the main group

Correspondence players with a little bit knowledge about computer chess or players which used chess server:
Group 3 is the main group

Important for a good organisation in creating a rating list is for myself:
Group 1 / Group 2

Thanks for the update on the Groups Frank. :)

I only test with w32.

When most of the engines go to 64 i will switch.

Best,
Gerold.

P.s. Keep up the good work.

i'm not sure how you managed to produce such results and to make such a claim because on my 32bit system rybka 4 is still way ahead of stockfish 1.9.1. the gap is narrowing but it is still considerably behind rybka by my own limited testing at any rate.

A lot of different things can happen with just a few games.
Books used, Hardware,TC. etc.
After a few games. R4 =28.5 Vs. SF.1.9. = 20.5.
This at 3/3 TC. I think SF may have a time problem.
It has lost a few game on time.

Best,
Gerold.

CCRL 32-bit 1CPU testing gives Rybka 4 and Stockfish 1.9.1 as almost equal in strength too.

Cheers,
Graham.

I had said that Stockfish 1.91 on 32 bit CPU has improved tremendously over the previous version in STS.

Frank's test confirms this.

Hi Graham,

have a look in the tournament table.
SF 1.7.1 JA made clear more points vs. Bright 0.5c and Spark 0.5 as Rybka 4. Without this two results the playing strenght is the same.

Perhaps two opponents Rybka 4 dislike.
Very interesting is to compare the results from Rybka 4 and SF 1.9.1 against the 23 opponents.

Hi Darren,

have a look on:
http://www.amateurschach.de

Look in the still running tournament:
http://www.amateurschach.de/ftptrigger/32-bit.html

Rybka 4 w32 and Stockfish 1.9.1 JA w32 are playing vs. the TOP available other engines 40 games = 960 games per engine. This tournament ended Sunday in the evening.

Conditions can be found on my webpage too.

Little hint for yourself:
A match vs. two engines will say nothing about an ELO strength. Not important how many games you have. You need a lot of engines for a good rating result.

Have a nice day.
