There are 2 new ladder matches.

#3, IvanHoe 57 (3) challenges Houdini 1.02 (1), and
#4, Igorrit 0086v9 (7) challenges IvanHoe Mod12c (5).

Overnight, Houdini and 57 drew their first 2 games.

Challenge matches #3 and #4 completed.

Houdini 1.02 beat IvanHoe 57 6.5 - 3.5, and so remains top of the ladder.
IvanHoe Mod12c and Igorrit 0086v9 drew 6 - 6, which was not enough for Igorrit to advance.

The ratings have been updated to include these matches. Now 291 games in all. The PGN file has been further edited. Elo figures have been adjusted.

Two new ladder matches.

#5, IvanHoe 81 (rank 6) challenges Fire 1.31 (4), and
#6, Stockfish 1.8 (10) challenges Igorrit 0086v7 (8).

Stockfish has already won, mating on its 45th move.

Some of the games will be available live. Notice will be given in a dedicated thread, once testing completed.

Matches #5 and #6 completed. Both challenges failed narrowly.

Fire 1.31 drew 6-6 with IvanHoe 81, and so Fire remains 4th.
Igorrit 0086v7 keeps 8th spot with an unassailable 6-5 against Stockfish 1.8.

Ladder matches #7 and #8 finished.

IvanHoe 57 drew 6-6 with IvanHoe 52, and so 57's challenge fails.
Houdini 1.03a reached 6 points, with 2 games left, so defending the challenge from version 1.02.
