Re: DNS Issue
I guess you saw a cached version(?), because the domain really expired.Volker Pittlik wrote:Never had a problem here. http://www.talkchess.com/forum/index.php worked all the time.
Currently you can only get access via the IP.

Re: DNS Issue
I emptied the caache before I replied and I still don't have a problem. However, it's not really my business.Guenther wrote:I guess you saw a cached version(?), because the domain really expired.Volker Pittlik wrote:Never had a problem here. http://www.talkchess.com/forum/index.php worked all the time.

Re: DNS Issue
You are both right: the domain name has expired yesterday, but Volker's internet provider's just didn't update this IP's name yet. If you change your DNS for Google's or other fast ones (like mine: Free's), going to www.chesstalk.com will just lead you to godaddy.com.Volker Pittlik wrote:I emptied the caache before I replied and I still don't have a problem. I sent this address out to the mods and others who contacted me via e-mail yesterday; I didn't post it here because the only way to read these posts is to already know it.Terry McCracken wrote:With a modification in address.
