Re: Stunning Komodo
It is a great result, but note that it played the bottom five of the table, which accounts for almost half its games played.

You can follow the latest development version of Komodo in TCEC C which is live right now.

Not sure that I can reveal Don's internal testing results of strength, but
just let's say it's gonna be a real treat when he releases it to the public.
Best,
Martin

Game 228 Fruit 2.6d-x64-2cpu -- Komodo 1.3-x64-JA
[D]rnb2rk1/1p1n1pp1/p2Bp2p/q7/4N3/4Q3/2PRB1PP/4K2R b K - 4 20
... Nc6 ?!
Hmmm.. Komodo lost this game after being three pawns up,
but perhaps this is a reasonable move.

Nice to see somebody take the Ippo* code to the next level.Martin Thoresen wrote:You can follow the latest development version of Komodo in TCEC C which is live right now.

This line in the Najdorf has been taking scalps for quite some time now.

That is really insulting to Don's hard work, and unwarranted.benstoker wrote:Nice to see somebody take the Ippo* code to the next level.Martin Thoresen wrote:You can follow the latest development version of Komodo in TCEC C which is live right now.

Have you any proof that Dan has used Ippo code in the way you suggest? If not, better keep yourt mouth shut because otherwise you are commiting an insult.

Re: Stunning Komodo
He clearly has no proof because Don has not done this. Both Jim Ablett and I have seen the code. It's not at all IPPO* like.fern wrote:Have you any proof that Dan has used Ippo code in the way you suggest? If not, better keep yourt mouth shut because otherwise you are commiting an insult.
