We are breaking with the usual naming convention and this will be called version 2.01 instead of the expected 1.4 - ...(snipped for brevity).

Will there be a 32 bit release? (Ya ya, I know...I do need to update in a century or so. :) )
Yes, there will be a 32 bit release.
Those still running 16 bit Windows or 8 bit CP/M are out of luck, though.

Hello Dann,

I want to protest this discriminatory release!

Let me turn on the fans. These 'vac machines run hot and take up almost all of the basement...

Later.
Almost? Dang, that is a big basement.

There is also the coal room, where coal is shoveled in to power the thing.

Is this guy a master of chess?

Forget the call of obama.

Give your baby a smart name.

It is a fine chessplayer, not a meat eating animal.

PS. Thx for releasing this great piece of chessprogramming.

I will make 32 bit LINUX version soon. Dann is going to make a 32 bit windows version and hopefully Jim Ablett will later make some Intel compiled versions when I can determine what the compiler issue is.

Thanks for the update. I´ve now made 50 games with x64-sse4 version on my Core I7 - and I have had only 1 crash after move 139 here. I got the Windows-message, Komodo does not work, shall we send some dates to Microsoft....
I use Shredder GUI and I remember I saw such messages with older Komodo Versions too. The game was a draw - so only the result must be corrected.
No crashes with the normal x64 version on the other pc.

best wishes

Hello Don, Dann and Albert,

I kept my silence but this latest from Don is a bit much to take!

I have four portable generators running the thing.

Coal indeed!

That was last year's model.

I hope that sets the record straight.

Thanks for the engine Don.

Later.

I'm extremely grateful that you have taken the effort to release
versions for both Mac and Linux. This allows me as someone who
doesn't have enough Windows knowledge and skills to add Komodo
to my test pool (and also announce when it has gotten to weak to be
removed again in 5 years from now or so :-)

Thanks a lot for these kind releases.
