Richard, in my opinion you offer the by far best original engine out there (letting a Multi-PV-calculation run absolutely no other engine comes to my mind which is even near your tactical monster), and heard you even worked on a learning-feature with Uly... great impressive work! While most hope for Komodo4/SMP, i think your next version will offer some nice (feature-)surprises.
And besides that, one most love this little country declining the EFSF-eurofund...

Just for the record since a few seem to have problems with our two accounts:

and
Dr. Alexander Schmidt
are different persons. We don't know each other.

Yes, it seems to be a common name in German-speaken countries.
And while two persons have always two minds, still - every full-moon - we occassionally share one or two common opinions...
And honestly, the more i read about this Houdini-affair, the more i get disappointed... not to long ago i was assured by RH's post that it is more than a tweaked Robbo, but seems its not the case...

How could we know whether it was really "more than a tweaked Robbo" or not, without bla-bla-bla fallacy?SchachProfi wrote:Yes, it seems to be a common name in German-speaken countries.

Paying atention to an engine´s playing strength. Very simple, indeed, for those interested in facts, not in fallacy.

RH did an excellent job with Houdini pressing way above Robbo, no doubt about it.slobo wrote:How could we know whether it was really "more than a tweaked Robbo" or not, without bla-bla-bla fallacy?

My point -as a software developer myself- is just: credits (and also earned money) have to be given where they're due, and in my opinion Houdini is not by RH but by RH & Ippolit-team & others.

Yes, I knew it would be good to ad the photo of the top-model to the interviev. People remember such thingsGerd Isenberg wrote:Thanks for the clarification. I assumed you were the same person
