You forgot to say how long Stockfish takes to solve it.
How can I ?. Stockfish does not solve it on default settings.
Thanks Om,

I will work at this example.

My general advice for all users of "Sting SF thread" is:

In my idea there are same variable which needs tuning.
One of them is added as option: "Sacrifice detection" with the default high value = 8.
I am not able to test the optimum value myself. Or it may take me much time.
The value can be smaller, and my idea should work too. Maybe better !
Sometimes, to solve a position it needs more time, though.
But "Sting SF thread" gives a chance to avoid multi-hours analysis, even if a sacrifice is on a further move.
To make a professional analysis it needs to use a few engines at the same time.
But one of them always should be "Sting SF thread".

Hi Marek!

Your idea works very well! I remember the 'black hole' position that you posted on this forum.

[d]3N2r1/2K1p3/4Pk2/8/Bp5b/8/2P5/8 b - - 0 1

My conclusion after some analysis was: mate in 28.

Sting on 1 cpu gets the idea very quckly but after 4 hours it hasn't found a mate. I think Endgame tablebases could be useful here. Perhaps it's worth adding EGTB support in Sting.

Thanks Karol,

"Sting SF JA thread" was created to solve the position above and two following, mainly:
[d] 7k/1r4rp/6pN/6P1/8/2B5/8/K7 b - -
1… Rb5 2. Bf6 Rf5 3. Bc3 Rxg5
[d] 8/1q3pKN/5Pp1/5kP1/8/Bb6/8/8 b - -
1...Qh1 and 2... Qxh7
All the three (easy for human) positions cause a huge problem for engines. Of course, such sensitive positions can be much more.
Next, my ambition went to middle-game. It seems to be that, in this theme, my idea needs a additional work. Maybe, a small tuning only.
But my health, tools and time are very limited.
Also I see that there is a wrong climate for my work, though.
I understand it.Thanks Karol,
