David K: did you write CM3000 code? Great discussion here...

Post by fern »

I read, many years ago, in a french chess magazines, that CM300 code was written not by you and neither by some Mr Kenaina or so, but by two guys which names I do not remember.
Can you give some illumination to us?

If I remember correctly CM3000 was written by the Spracklens. I could be mistaken but I'm sure they wrote one version of CM.

No, my friend, the Spracklen were engaged only in The Fidelity CM2100, for certain.

Yes - you're right. The Spracklens were 2100.

The guys already stated that he's NOT Dave Kittinger, so why not stop badgering him?

Here Fernando's question was whether "the" David Kittinger wrote CM3000 code, not whether the user named "Dave K" were the same person as David Kittinger. That does not contradict to what Fernando thinks about the latter question but this thread isn't about that, I think.

You are right. Besides, my bothering on that matter does not harm and was logical after all.

Thank you , Fern , for the info about which programming team members were the engine programmers.
