Deep Junior 13.3 vs. Deep Hiarcs 14 at 120min+30sec

Hi all,

this is a 50 games match between Deep Junior 13.3 and Deep Hiarcs 14 at 120min+30sec TC. Ponder=On, Hash 4GB (Junior) and 2GB (Hiarcs). Both are using their own engine books, booklearning is on. Hardware: Dual Xeon 5660 @ 3.06GHz.

Hi all,

I've stopped the first test after 24 games because the opening situation was boring. Book learning caused many repeating opening lines (e.g. B52). Now the test is restarted with small, but wide books - book learning is disabled.

Junior is clear one step better than the new Hiarcs at long time controls....

Hiarcs is playing now a 1.b3 Larsen but made a blunder art move 42 or so and Junior is winning again.

These results are somewhat surprising! I have myself have been really enjoying Junior 13. Much more than Junior 12!

Hiarcs has won 3 games in a row, now 11.0 - 6.0 to Junior.
