My engine, Kirby, has reached a very enjoyable stage. Its evaluation amounts solely to counting positionally-weighted wood, and it knows nothing about king safety. So I can play gambits and sacrifices with impunity, and produce Morphy-like "brilliancies." Today's masterpiece, for your pleasure:

Glad some of you enjoyed this game as much as I did.
My goal is to produce a chess program that plays better chess than I do. Kirby is closer to this (very achievable ) goal than the posted game indicates. But I'll be sure to save this version, to play when I need an ego-boost.
