The only thing that remains to be done is some tweaks to the lowest strength settings (it's a little too strong at the weakest settings right now).
Finally, the world get the long wait version 2.6.0, I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Ouch, you are making me feel embarrassed that I forced you all to wait so long. So many unexpected things happened and forced my attention away from computer chess at the time, and I never got around to releasing the version I talked about in that message.

Anyway, I'm very happy to hear that you like the new version. I promise you won't have to wait as long for the next version this time. Version 2.6.0 is already feeling a little old to me, after the improvements I have made since submitting this version to the App Store.

By the way, this thread is as good a place as any to present feature requests. If anyone reading this has any features you would like to see added to future versions, let me know about them. I probably won't listen to you, as I have strong opinions of my own about what the app should and should not do, but there is always a chance.

Both of these are already there. The engine in the new iOS app is based on a development version from Thursday or Friday last week, and is therefore more recent than SF 4.0. The binary is compiled with 64-bit support, but of course I haven't been able to test it on an actual 64-bit iPhone. In the iPhone simulator on my Mac, it's about 35% faster in 64-bit mode than in 32-bit mode.

(EDIT: NO)---since Julien's post is exactly one year old and iOS 7 was just released.

The resurrection of this old post is unfortunate, today of all days.
