45TH AMATEUR SERIES (Division 6)

Intel i5 Quad
ChessGUI
256mb hash each where possible
3-4-5 piece tablebases
Ponder off
Graham2014-1F.cgb book
40 moves in 25 minutes repeating (adapted for the CCRL)
2 cycles 30 rounds
All engines 64-bit where available
The top engine will gain automatic promotion. Any other changes of division will be at my discretion and may not necessarily involve playoff matches. This will be the final series that OliThink is able to participate in unless a new version is publicly released before the next series.

Neither have I. I've added some features (MultiPV, personalities) but haven't improved the strength. Still, these tournaments are fun to watch, even if I don't have a stronger version of my engine competing.

Maverick is off to a fast start.

Hi Erik,

Yes - Maverick seems to be doing well so far. I'm sure statistics will catch up with it soon.

I've played a lot with the evaluation function and nothing seems to add any measurable strength. I'm about to try automatic tuning. Let's see!
