In my private rating list, this positions it near the level of Deep Fritz 10.0.0.0 & Rybka 1.1....

Ed - I find that because Rebel has two exes running, it wants to use more than one core.
Is there a way to restrict it to using just one core?

Maestro Ed ,

Superb the new engine.
Two observations-if possible:

1.-the installation folder contains the same old rebeluci.exe ( in fact the Wb2Uci.exe) with a wrong MateScore display under Fritz/Shredder.....GUIs.
Do you remember our discussion on Chess2U forum, Maestro Ed ?

http://www.chess2u.com/t7971-the-proble ... o-packages

Use the new Wb2Uci.exe (245.760 bytes from 23-06-2007) renamed rebeluci.exe, otherwise all games on Fritz GUI are compromised.

2.-For ComputerChessWiki team: Rebel TNG (like all ProDeo & Rebel) is a pure Winboard engine. Not an UCI one like is listed on Engine List. Is UCI only via Wb2Uci.exe (renamed rebeluci.exe) !

Have a nice day !

SilvianR
