If Komodo 8 will be released by Chessbase, does this mean Robert Houdart quit the Houdini project? Best regards!

The logic of your question escapes me. What does the release of one chess engine by Chessbase (more correctly, the release of the gui with the UCI executable) have to do with the actions of a chess engine author who is involved on a totally different engine?

Roger Brown is correct. Think of Chessbase as a woman. If she gives birth to one child, it does not mean that she will not give birth to more children !

I think, that Houdart was very clever and made quite a lot of money from Houdini. Any idea how many H3 and H4 were sold?
