<Infenwe: Wow. This might be one of the most impressive games I've seen this entire season. SF playing down a rook for over 20 moves. Such amazing ability to evaluate compensation for the material.>

Agreed, a remarkable game. I am ashamed to ask, but is it all correct?
In any case, a game well worth studying.

Jeffrey : I don't doubt that there are some impressive calculations in the
game but really 3.... Be6? by Jonny . That move goes against all my
understanding of clever chess openings. It locks in Black's E pawn unnecessarily and slows down its game preparation I would thought.

I have said this before, I have had to rethink everything I thought I knew about the game. Old school dogma will slow your growth in chess.

A.-

Really ?

B.-

The second rook of Jonny 6.0 was useless - along all the game - because of the king was unable to castle. Ask a GM (or only a master) ! Any wonder ! Sorry !

C.-

Where is my yesterday kitten ? CEGT & CCRL worked together, for sure ! Lobby in moderation area ?
Ready the tests for Barbarossa ? Or the old Lovelace ?

As we say at chess club all the time in situations like this, "What's a rook between friends?".

Problem with TCEC that time control is too long. Nothing is happening. 5 or 10 minutes games are more fun to watch.

Yes for me TCEC is too long to follow. But 5-10 mins is too short..
