Komodo 8 in Apple store ?
Is there a way to get Komodo 8 to play on my iPad?

It needs to have its own GUI for that to work. If it doesn't, then no.
The thing is that on iOS you're not allowed to have extensions to existing Apps that add new executable code (plug-ins, scripts or, in this case, engines). So unless a program has its own interface, there is no way to use it on iOS.
