any UCI pure brute-force engines?

Bh5+ wins. None of top engines could solve it. I guess that search techniques like null_move_pruning or futility_pruning are responsible for that blindness. Is pure brute_force the only chance to solve it? And if so, what UCI compatibile engine could you recommend to solve this position?

Not even Sting.

Bh5+ wins. None of top engines could solve it. I guess that search techniques like null_move_pruning or futility_pruning are responsible for that blindness. Is pure brute_force the only chance to solve it? And if so, what UCI compatibile engine could you recommend to solve this position?

This position was solved by Houdini 3 tactical in this thread:

http://talkchess.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 2p4n+p3bn2

Also it was stated in that thread that Disabling Null Move pruning in all Komodos solves the position also.

The latest SF modified to disable various prunings and reductions finds the move in about 2.5 minutes (with 16 threads), though it doesn't yet see that taking the bishop allows mate-in-12:

I tried it with my new idea (Sting-sf-48, hash 1024M, dual core) without some dirty "Monte Carlo" or "rule50" or "nullMove search disabled" or "tablebases". (time 5 second!)
