No luck so far to find the full PGN, but I come here to post some info I found: the game was played at New York and I found an alternative spelling: Avalla instead of Ayala.

There are some books that focus on the problem, all of them starting from Qa4+. The move number was 48 (this is 48.- Qa4+) according to Chess tactics for the tournament player (Alburt & Palatnik).

I have not found the game notation, but maybe something of interest about the Lasker family. Edward Lasker had a brother, Alfons Lasker. He lived in Breslau, Silesia. Silesia was a province of Prussia, later of the Weimar republic and after World War II part of Poland. Almost the entire family of Alfons Lasker died after being deported to concentration camps. Two nieces of the later American chess champion Eduard Lasker, Anita and her elder sister Renate survived by determination, some luck and their musical talents that spared them from the gas chambers. Anita wrote a book about this terrible time: Inherit the Truth 1939-1945: The Documented Experiences of a Survivor of Auschwitz and Belsen

After surviving the war, she managed to emigrate to England in 1946; and in 1949 she became a founder member of the English Chamber Orchestra, with which she still plays. She married Peter Wallfisch, the pianist, and has two children, Maya and Rafael, who is also a celebrated cellist.
