Anything wrong with Graham Banks tournaments? Or how much do they pay us for watching the games.
Only interesting perhaps if your own engine is playing.
We want more ELO and more (boring) draws. Computer chess is (almost) dead.

Last TCEC was very interesting because of the participation of the new Houdini.
I hope we will see again a new Houdini in the tournament.

Yes, Also I like rapid games better than longer timed games. Since I do not like to wait a lot for a move.Thomas Lagershausen wrote:Last TCEC was very interesting because of the participation of the new Houdini.

Farewell.

Very glad to hear this. It will drive the engines to higher heights with the competition.

You can't have everything. If you want to be sure of a draw you have to wait.Look wrote:Yes, Also I like rapid games better than longer timed games. Since I do not like to wait a lot for a move.Thomas Lagershausen wrote:Last TCEC was very interesting because of the participation of the new Houdini.

I hope there is no break at all. For me, that rapid tournament with a large number of engines between the last round and the superfinal pretty much drained all my interest. I like the long time-control games, but fewer engines and fewer rounds might be better. I guess we'll learn the details soon enough.whereagles wrote:Massive announcement. The true WCCC returns!
