Two identifiers - ends in “.exe” and has a “W”. “L” is for Linux and “X” is for macOS.

It is pure amsfish , assembly is not something I should tinker with. I did turn on the UCI options for using the Cerebellum book , playing with variety and using UCI limit strength ( play by ELO , in the code it is called “Weakness”). It is still a few Elo stronger than current dev Stockfish and SF-McB due to its speed on my machine - it is also 20% faster on the Mac Pro.

Just a quick follow up - There are two zip files on the site in the original post - the zip file with the “mf” in the name has the mate finder code enabled. That version will play weaker , but will find some mates quicker than the other. Both zip files contain windows , Linux and macOS exe’s. On macOS , you may have type a “chmod 755 “name of app” in terminal - granting permission for app to run on your machine - without the quotes of course.

Over 300 downloads in about 12 hours , that’s pretty impressive as far as what I usually see.

560 downloads in less than 24 hours - that is the largest number of downloads in a 24 period for anything I ever put up for download. But since I changed the name, the counter was reset to zero - oh well ;>).
