hi everyone,
I'm interested in an updated version of cutechess gui for windows, does someone has a more recent build than 1.0.0 release or know some site where upddated build can be downloaded?

Re: cutechess gui build
Here is a 64-bit static compile from last November, posted by one of the developers:
https://github.com/cutechess/cutechess/ ... -64bit.zip
Its main new feature is User Adjudication. Been running it since December.
Here's a working 32-bit dynamic compile of the latest dev:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/m5eyu7652 ... 180120.zip
The 64-bit static compile done per wiki instructions compiles without errors once you update your MSYS2 install; however, the resulting exec complains about the missing/wrong qwindows.dll. I tried copying this file to the /platforms subdir from various versions of QT installs without success. If you want to give it a try anyway, here it is:

Re: cutechess gui build
Latest dev build (as of Feb 3 2018):
cutechess-gui-20180203.zip
GUI changes since last official release (1.0.0 July 20 2017):
- Draw/White win/Black win user adjudication (under Game menu)
- Resign (under Game menu)
- Close initial game tab if unused (under Tools/Settings/General)
- Use full name of human player (under Tools/Settings/General)
- Display players' sides on clocks (under Tools/Settings/General)
- "PGN Site" field (under Tools/Settings/General)
- "PGN output for single games" field (under Tools/Settings/General)
- "PGN output for single games" field (under Tools/Settings/General)
- "PGN output" field (under Tools/Settings/Tournaments)
- "EPD output" field (under Tools/Settings/Tournaments)
Briefly tested on two different boxes running Win 7 x64 Pro. Doesn't seem to require external DLLs or the platforms subdir.

Re: cutechess gui build
First of all: Thank you for compiling the latest version!elcabesa wrote:You can download the version modified by tcec devel team. It implemented the feature you need
And finally a question: Where can I find / download the modified version you wrote about? I'd be also interested in interrupting / resuming tournaments. Best thing would be to have a tournament file that other computers on the network could access, too. Than a distributed tournament play would be possible (like in ShredderClassic GUI).
Best regards
Timo

Re: cutechess gui build
I presume it's Jeremy Bernstein's fork:
https://github.com/jeremybernstein/cutechess
It has CLI binaries already compiled.
Another fork appears more recent but offers source code only:
