So, wait with testing, until the official compiles are released. The auto-compiles on abrok.eu are very slow!

Somebody should ask Thomas Zipproth to make official compiles. For maximum speed!

As a matter of interest, what is it that gives the best compile, is it hardware related, different compile parameters or a combination of both?

Cheers,

Really? Why haven't they done something about this?

What should 'they' do about another site???
This is just a nice service for 'use it at your own risk'.
Stockfish Development Versions are build automatically if there are changes on the master branch in the git repository (https://github.com/official-stockfish/Stockfish). Use it at your own risk.

By "they", I mean the guys at abrok.eu. I guess they're already providing the fastest compiles that they can, and somehow they turn out to be very slow?

Anyway, the time I made a compile of my own, it wasn't much faster than abrok.eu's, so I wonder if this depends on the user's hardware.

No. The goal was to have it automatized and for all available cpu types.
