Off topic - Who is authorized?

Post by Gabor Szots »

Clicking on a poster's name I am confronted with the message 'You are not authorised to view the member list or profiles.'
I remember in the past I could read other members' profiles. Now I can't read even mine!

Is that only with me?

If I click on your (or any) name I get your profile.

Thanks. Odd, now I can get the profiles again.

You need to be logged in to view profiles now, I think.

I recently noticed that after having logged in already, few minutes later I am logged out after clicking on some topic. Definitely not a timeout issue. Strange behaviour, maybe related to Gabor's problem?

Yes. When I click on a name, a pop-up window tells me: 'The board requires you to be registered and logged in to view profiles.' I did log in and I still could not read the profile, in fact the name became unclickable. Anyway, it seems to have gone now.

That's also very odd. I haven't come across it yet, though.
