Who will finally beat GM Ding Liren ?

Post by Chessqueen »

World Chess Olympiad 2018, Web (11)
24 Sep - 5 Oct 2018, Batumi (Georgia) Caruana, Mamedyarov, Ding Liren, Giri, So, Kramnik, Vachier-Lagrave, Nakamura, Karjakin, Anand, Nepomniachtchi, Aronian, Yu Yangyi, Radjabov, etc

GM Ding Liren has the current record among all the active players of NOT losing a single game, since September of last year, and that is how he finally reached over 2800+; but who would be the one to give him his first lost after 1 year, my bet is that either GM Caruana or Kramnik will finally beat him.

I forgot to clarify GM Ding Liren record is in classical standard chess, not in Rapid or Blitz since GM Ding Liren has lost in Rapid and in Blitz , but his record is still standing from Sept of last year up to now.

GM Ding Liren added another player without a loss, but this one is not too high rated :D
I believe that at the end GM Ding Liren will face either GM Caruana or GM Carlsen and one of them will beat him.

Thinking it over, I believe that you might be able to beat him if you are allowed 3 consecutive moves out of every four moves with the help of any 3 top engines; in other word X engine will play the first three moves and you play the fourth move, then X engine will play moves 5th 6th and 7th and you make the 8th moves and so on ........... until you either beat GM Ding Liren or you make a horrible blunder when you play your move and get check mated

Thinking it over, it would be hard even for a 2200 rated player to beat a 2800+ GM under this conditions since it only take a bad move even for a top GM to loose a game and it has happened a lot in top GM GM, therefore, the possibility for a lower rated player even with the assistance of a top engine is very likely to occur. And the three consecutive moves made by the top engine will have to be made by another player, so you can not see the possible continuing best moves.

Now I truly believe that GM Ding Liren will brake GM Tal record of 95 straight games in Standarc chess without a lost so far GM Ding Liren has 82 games and GM Caruana could NOT beat him. Another note is that GM Tal broke that record without the strongest player Bobby Fischer playing him since Bobby stopped playing back in 1972, Therefore GM Liren Record is more meaningful

Three more games to tie GM Tal record
And four more games to break GM Tal record of 95 games in standard chess time control without a lost
