First Stockfish loss for some time ...

Post by chrisw » Fri Sep 28, 2018 11:19 am

I lost count since Stockfish actually lost a game against anything, so I suppose this counts as an "event". Nice play by Houdini, the exchange down.

Oh, sorry, missed that one, not lookin at TCEC for a while. I suppose this has been analysed to death already? Looks a wholly unnecessary loss in a drawn endgame.

Here you have some defeats of Stockfish 9 from my tests with Leela Chess Zero.

Lc0 version 0.17 with net 11261 on Asus Geforce GTX 1060 3 Gb against Stockfish 9 with 6 threads on i7 4790S with 4 cores and 8 threads, ponder Off, Hash tables 1 Gb. for both under Arena gui.

5mas3 means 5 minutes + 3 seconds
25mas10 means 25 minutes + 10 seconds
Tablebases support 5 men if you have syzygy after the name

i7 4790S 300$ vs Asus Geforce GTX 1060 3 Gb 300$

LeR=3300*875/6640000=0.43

The love relationship between a chess engine tester and his computer can be summarized in one sentence:
Until heat do us part.
