Current TCEC Cup

Post by AdminX »

I was not sure LC0 would make it pass Fire, there were so many draws I had to check this morning to see the outcome. :D

Apart from being impossible as was already pointed out, it would also be highly optimistic from SF's view. Likely outcomes are 4.5-3.5, 5-3 and 4.5-2.5. Worse scores than this for Leela are not likely since Lc0-SF with the current net has actually been tested extensively in bonus games, and while Stockfish is almost guaranteed to win, it is also almost guaranteed to be a much tighter affair than SF's matches so far.

Come on, Damir, correct that also...
To win the match, Stockfish needs at least 4.5 :)

So, is it 3 wins and 3 draws, or 4 wins and 2 draws ?...

4.5-3.5 in favor of SF would be the most likely outcome, considering +50 elo in favor of SF.

If LCO defeated Fire, I am very impressed. If it is still learning I think it is only a matter of time before it becomes number 1. I am not an LCO fan but I will have to slowly climb on the bandwagon if it happens.

Update = 3 games, 3 draws so far.
Being 50 elo range and only 8 games, anything can happen.
