I may be overlooking something here, but I have not seen the executable. Have they been posted yet - or am I being impatient?

You're are not impatient - I am simply tardy. Going through one of those once in a lifetime experiences. After working for primarily one company since 1987, the company announced what they call "Voluntary Separation Offer" meaning that they pay you a fairly generous amount to simply leave the company - which you were probably going to do anyways. So this offer and the related action items required have become the focus of my attention. I am now aiming for this weekend. Sorry for the delay.

MikeB , Are you going to release the version of McCain that has the two dropdown menus that this thread was about ? The current version of McCain X does not have that option ? I was looking forward to it. Thanks , Karger

I did, but I can only test on Mac which GUI are you using? The book file is a drop down too.

Wish I knew why the the executable's dont run on chesspartner but regular stockfish run just fine
