TC = 3m + 2s
Stockfish 32 threads, 4Gb HT
Leela Chess Zero 2 threads, 9000000 NN CS.
6 man Tablebase
6 move opening book

i read on TCEC that more than 4 threads actually hurt the performance of any NN engine. I will find out more and why is that so, unless you guys know the reason already.

I don't know if it hurts Lc0 to use more threads. I don't know why it would hurt its performance. I stay at 2 threads because I gained nothing by using more. My GPU utilization is maxed with 2 threads. And the CPU still had headroom, meaning the CPU utilization was not maxed out. Other systems will would be different. I am sure it depends on the hardware you are using.

And that would make sense. TCEC is using 2 GPU. 2 threads for each GPU.
