A farewell letter from the King.

Fritz 15 has saved his king? Long live the king; A dead King is followed by a King placed !! ...
Perhaps what has been ignored in the man-to-machine tournaments in chess is the importance of the "centralization of the King."
The King at the center of the board, must surround himself with his own pawns, and build a nest in the manner of a spaceship.
In this way the survival of the King is ensured, enclosing him in a protective shell, in a defensive shield, in which he ensures that the sword can never penetrate.

It was in this way that Fritz 15, in a game at 16 minutes per player, built a capsule inside the board, and set out to tour the space. The body and life of the King seemed then to be assured and preserved, but "the artificial intelligence forgot something". Artificial intelligence forgot that the oxygen supply of the spacecraft was limited, and artificial intelligence forgot that the fuel of the spacecraft's engines had a limit.
In this way, the King of Fritz 15 died, and today he is lost in an endless navigation where time no longer matters, through the cideral space, completely well preserved, but without life.

The clock and time ended with the reign of artificial intelligence.

The position of the King of Fritz 15 in the center of the board is a true work of art, of the imagination of the intelligence of the human being.

Sincerely,

Fritz 15,
I send a greeting and a hug that breaks the ribs to my dear friend Father, and Grand-Father

I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

Kung Fu Panda versus Karete Kid, man versus machine 2019

Brainfish 170419 64 POPCNT (7 threads): 25.5 plies; 7.597kN/s Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4720HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz 2593MHz, (4 cores, 8 threads) New Elo: 1927 (+33), Classic.

Stubbornness can become your main enemy, when battles with wrong techniques.

The flying kick against the judoka. Man versus machine 2019.
The chess computers are and remind us of the extraordinary millenary art of Kung fu; vellosidad, precision, rapidity, rapid reflexes, are characteristics of the cybernetic machines of playing chess.
So that we confront the chess computers we have the recourse to do with the technique of judo. The idea of us against the computer is to produce a true electronic despair, to use us humans, the paradigms with which artificial intelligence counts, and to use them against the same arithmetical intelligence.
In this way a space of hope opens up in this battle that has passed from fiction to the territory of reality.

I offer you this game that I played a few minutes ago in the purest form of fighting between two styles of martial arts; the judo against karate.[pgn][Event "Rated game, 5 min"] [Site "Engine Room"] [Date "2019.04.24"] [Round "?"] [White "Schinitzu"] [Black "Grand-father"] [Result "0-1"] [ECO "A81"] [WhiteElo "2418"] [BlackElo "2028"] [PlyCount "526"] [EventDate "2019.04.24"] [SourceTitle "playchess.com"] [TimeControl "300"] 1. Machine, and the donkey's jaw.

Post by Father »

The jaw of a donkey.

I read A gift in the book of Judges, 14: 15-16, that Samson, ... "Finding a donkey's jaw that was still free, he grabbed it and killed a thousand men with it." Samson said: I have piled up the jawbone of an ass. With a donkey's jaw I killed a thousand men. "
On this occasion, the chess game of the machine against man has not been about Samson against the computer; the human who has won the donkey is an ordinary human, without a special force, and the human being has battled against artificial intelligence without the jawbone of a donkey.
Human, machine, and the whole donkey, have attended the defeat of the computer, where the protagonists have been, the man and the machine. The donkey with everything and its jaw, have been witnesses of the combat.

The judge who has issued the ruling, the sentence, and the final decree, in the present battle of chess machine against the human, has been the implacable and always also witness, called, clock and called time.

Best regards,

Pablo Ignacio Restrepo

I am thinking chess is in a coin.Human beings for ever playing in one face. Now I am playing in the other face:"Antichess". Computers are as a fortres where owner forgot to close a little door behind. You must enter across this door.Forget the front.

Classic. S_MCTSL 220319 64 (23 threads): 31.3 plies; 31.241kN/s Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-7920X CPU @ 2.90GHz 2904MHz, (12 cores, 24 threads) Ping HerzsjeMZ = 0.5s

The increasingly advanced and more complex thinking of computer chess algorithms.

This example of a man versus machine chess match, may be a candidate for the prize for the evaluation of the elements.

Undoubtedly this example of chess game of man against machine, which has been played in a fearsome supercomputer that calculates more than thirty million positions per second, in which operated a monster of silicon or software, is a game of chess whose movements they are of a deep mathematical, philosophical and artistic content.

The final position of the game is incredible, and the negative constant of the computer to ignore its materialistic natural tendency is even more
incrible.

In the end, the strategy developed by the human being was successful.

The most disappointing thing about chess engines is that during 26 years of hard work there was almost no progress in playing strength. In fact, maybe the engines have even went backwards in playing strength.

I think it's also possible, giving the history of chess engines, that chess engines will never be better than humans (like Kasparov for example) in playing strength.

All I can say is that I'm extremely disappointed about chess engines.
