Much better than predicted for Normal Komodo, but that's probably because the 12.3 rating was lower than a couple other versions presumably due to bad luck. Just one elo below prediction for MCTS, I guess no excuse is needed for that!

Thanks! Nice to see both versions slightly above our estimates, and to see Komodo 13.01 MCTS above Fire 7.1, which means that there is no "daylight" (other engines) between the two Komodo versions now on your list.

I know in the past, someone always points out an obvious 'bug' immediately after release. Here, I have not heard of the reason.

We gave Komodo 13 to ChessBase by a contractual date, but found and fixed a minor bug a couple days later. To avoid confusion we called the fixed version (which we released) 13.01. I'm not sure whether ChessBase will have 13.01 in their initial distribution, more likely they'll sell Komodo 13 and just make 13.01 available as a free online upgrade. Meanwhile an MCTS Ponder bug has been reported and fixed; I haven't heard that anyone is doing Ponder on testing of Komodo 13.01 MCTS yet, I'd suggest holding off until our next update. Current testing without ponder is fine.
