World KO Champs final rounds report…McCain X1 wins 2019 World Engines KO champs.. Beating Stockfish Dev 131218 64(DCT) 7.5-4.5….Congrats to McCain X1…..Great late runs by McBrain 9, ShashChess 6.2.4 64 MCTS!!, Stockfish 040718 64Voyager and Sf_LMR080717MZ 64-TC in the late rounds. McCain X1 played solid and determined chess to outlast all opponents and claim the Title! The 2 MZFish engines entered had a excellent run and lost close matches in the late rounds also..(Razors Edge)Most Matches were close with one win (or loss) deciding. Quite a few tiebreak matches( 2min +5 secs)..Thinksfish 1.01 (Defending Champ) had a great run thru a very tough top half draw but lost a critical game in the group semifinal and could not recover (First engine loss in around 2 years or so) Never recalled seeing Thinksfish 1.01 losing a game..only draws so I coined the Phrase “Thinksfish 1.01 Invincible” Engine has placed high and strong in Numerous RR & Swiss Tourneys. But again Kudos to McCain X1 “A Great Victory” (Hard Fought:)
