Some people should take some time to think about what the GPL philosophy stands
for, what was the intention of an programmer or an community if they put their
stuff under GPL, and - respect that.

When you put your software under the GPL you are granting anyone who wants to use the software rights, including selling access to it as a SaaS offering. The GPL is not some magical commercial chastity belt.

As I said, take some time to ponder about the philosophy behind the license...

What is "Lc0 net container"?

"DeusX" was Lc0 binary, Lc0 neural network architecture and implementation, trained with Lc0 scripts (so the only thing different is NN weights, it's not even "different neural net" as some people say).
I don't know what "Fat Fritz" is, but I expect it's the same.

Whether it's fine to commercialize is debatable, but what I don't like the most is that what "Fat Fritz" really is is hidden from people paying money for it.

From just looking quickly at the game that was posted, I really like the endgame part where "trolling" has been avoided. Not sure if it was due to improvements in NN code or if it is the EGTB's took over, but it sure is nice to see a NN engine play the endgame without moves that prolong the game endlessly.

Only one user at a time can use Fat Fritz, in order to maintain the full calculation power. That is why you will have to wait until the active user has finished his analysis. Alternately you can also offer a higher bid in order to get Fat Fritz sooner.

If the root binary is LC0, then I would rather use LC0. Now if they were to just sell the weights file for Deus, then I might just buy it. Better than renting it in my case. Many of the details of Fat Fritz are obfuscated in any event.
