A classic king-side demolition, Larsen to play and crush!

According to the tournament's bulletin, Euwe's 33th move is winning, if followed by 34. Qg4! Can your favorite engine find that? (This one is probably harder)

Gufeld's double piece sacrifice on the twelfth and thirtteenth move is truely spectacular, but apparently only leads to a draw with best play. Can your engine find 12...Nd6!! which yields black the advantage?

Rainbow Serpent needed about double the number of nodes. Maybe it was a bit harder also because it thinks 33. Nxc44 is also a nice move.

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first
place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you
are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

Gufeld's double piece sacrifice on the twelfth and thirtteenth move is truely spectacular, but apparently only leads to a draw with best play. Can your engine find 12...Nd6!! which yields black the advantage?

Gufeld's double piece sacrifice on the twelfth and thirtteenth move is truely spectacular, but apparently only leads to a draw with best play. Can your engine find 12...Nd6!! which yields black the advantage?

Same position, latest SF with LazySMP, 512 MB Hash, 6 threads, needs 3:35 to find Nd6.
Interestingly, it first switched to Bb7.

Position 1 is too easy.

For position 2, there's a better move but it's hard to find : Nexg6!
3b2n1/1q3p1k/6pp/np2N3/2bBPN2/1pP4P/4QPP1/1B4K1 w - - 0 33

Position 3 still interesting :
rnb2r2/3pppkp/p5p1/qPpQ4/P1P1n3/4PN2/4KPPP/RN3B1R w - - 0 12
