It is a 256x20 Net. But the file on HDD is compressed - it can no be read by lc0 0.22.0, only by the FatFritz-Engine.exe

What is the difference between "Fritz17Setup_x64" and "Fritz17Setup_Win10" ?

Both list as 64-bit on installation. Having both alternatives is :?

I run on Windows 10 64-bit.

BTW, has anyone reported about the engine being released as Fritz 17?
Developed by Frank Schneider, the author of a very strong private engine known as Gingko, the new Fritz 17 engine will not only surpass the previous Fritz 16, but also provide new analysis for those seeking yet another new look at things.
On the NN front, I think the GUI option to show "True percentile output" is the most interesting feature:
One of the characteristics of the neural networks is that they learn and evaluate a position based on winning chances. Fat Fritz will break this down into not only the overall winning chances, but the expected wins, draws and losses. This is useful since saying a position has a 50% chance won't tell you if that means it expects 50% wins and 50% losses, or just 100% draws. Fritz 17 has been modified to allow users to see this pure output of the neural network.

There is a new engine output option “Display win probabilities” that is active by default.

When you run the engine you will also see the breakdown at the bottom. You can see the first is the overall win rate, followed by the details of the wins, draws and losses.
Is this a new display output? I don't recall even Nibbler offering this. Also, will it show percentile output for Lc0 nets?

I was wondering the same thing, I have only setup and am testing the Fat Fritz Network right now. I would like to save my Fritz 17 key for now as they just renewed my Playchess subscription. Note to self turn off auto-renewal!!!

It's not compressed, they just changed the header for Lc0 not to be able to load it.

Lc0 v0.23 will be able to open it. Or current master can. Or you can patch this line manually:

My first two Fat Fritz games.

Eman 4.41 Running on my laptop in the Engine Cloud (i7 8550) (7threads /32GB Ram)
vs Fat Fritz Running on my desktop (2x GTX1060) (4threads / 32GB Ram)

Both games resulted in draws with Fat Fritz having the preferable endgame positions.

Both list as 64-bit on installation. Having both alternatives is :?

I run on Windows 10 64-bit.
I had the same wondering myself.
I went with Win10 installation which was x64 too.
Maybe the "Fritz17Setup_x64" is just for previous Windows only and the Win10 one is for Windows 10?
After his son's birth they've asked him:
"Is it a boy or girl?"
