Whoops, that post contained info about a future position I thought already was on the board, but we aren't there yet.

I'll bet the house, based on my zero-node analysis, that 24. bxc3 Rc8 have been or will be played.

But what comes next?

Well, duh! The only reason I haven't played it yet is because I have missed Harvey's conditional

I, huh, I'm too lazy to copy paste stuff, but I accept Harvey's conditional, so Harvey is now waiting for my move 25. At least this didn't have consequences (100% of my analysis has been for 24...Rc8.)

And so, now that we're on the relevant position, here's the contents of my redacted message above:

Wow, the only two non-losing moves around here, 25.f3 and 25.Bd2 are completely tied, in score, branches, depth, and positions analyzed, even though they lead to completely different endgames

This is unprecedented for me. I really hope that both of them draw with best play, but if not, I might have a 50% chance of losing the game this move.

Hmm, that sounds a lot more pessimistic than I intended.

So my most promising endgame currently is one where I have 3 pawns for a piece (and I claim I can force it), and I still don't understand what's the deal with it, why is it so hard to draw it. I like that its eval flattens with more depth. Will I go for it or is there something better?
