I got a TR3970x which will be delivered in a few days.
Only 2 2080 supers, but the price was so good, I could not hold off (about $7000 after tax and shipping).
I think I will wait for the 7nm+ TR to get the next one, probably late 2020 or early 2021.

I got one of those stupid fast AORUS PCIE 4 m.2 drives for my system disk.

I will probably be sorry I did not wait for the 3990x in about 5 months, but then it would have been harder to get a 4990x.

Well, I am about to retire Ezekiel (my 64 core box that does about 47M NPS on the Asmfish bench).
This new box will do more than twice the NPS at 1/3 of the power.
If you want to pay for crating and shipping, I would send you that machine (but keep the sound proof box).
Warning, it weighs 100KG, so the shipping would be rather high.
And the 4 1200 watt power supplies suck juice with a slurp and a burp.

If you should plan to run it inside of an ordinary house, a sound proof box is necessary.
When the squirrel cage blowers hit full bore it sounds like a jet airplane taking off.
You can't watch TV in the same room with it, and conversations are difficult.

I was just joking. I live in an old condo which only has 100amp service. I think it would fry my circuits! On the up side, I don't pay for electricity, though.

haha I also joined the TR3970x club, but went just one lowly 2060 Super for now, Special , no tax, no shipping fees , about $5K total

including a Crucial P1 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD (rated 2000/1750 MBs), delivery around 12/25 ( didn't pull the string until Monday) - how about that for timing?
dually 2080 Supers , would have raise the total cost to $6500.

The 3970 system is about as powerful as 2/3 of the systems I have at home.
