Virtual Sample Game of Real Chess Shatranj

I will try to emulate a basic game of how it is played keeping some of the FIDEs rule in mind and still not polluting the real soul of the Shatranj.

Since, people are very used to FIDEs version, lets try to drill down how it is played. Probably, I will try to add animated GIF.

I have uploaded the first 31 moves by white. I have tried to incorporate how promotion / demotion / works. Also castling is covered. Though another reference document is incomplete and has so many typing errors, you will still find it usefull.


I observed older document is still full of mistakes and need correction.

The sanple zip file has been uploaded to samsung cloud. Please check it and let me know how you understand.

Just fyi..

RajRishi was not supposed to kill anyone indirectly as per Dharma but shakuni challanged Yudhistir in Mahabharat to play the unethical move to let RajRishi control and indirectly let other parts of army to kill the controlled warrior... This actually makes RajRishi was uncontrolled distructor and controller....

Please review the game and let me know..

Only 31 moves have been covered so far.. you can ask for further steps and better if you can play as many steps on your own and send me...
