One thing is for sure, there's a lot of wiggle room:

The latest update is Fat Fritz 1.1 with changes to Cpuct, Fpu, Policy temp, NN cache and couple of others.
Tests are required to see where it stands.

Question is whether Kiudee settings work with Fat Fritz 🤔

My question is whether it can pass this test position:

1r3r2/4bpkp/1qb1p1p1/3pP1P1/p1pP1Q2/PpP2N1R/1Pn1B2P/3RB2K w - -

It failed very badly when Peter tested it last year.

Where do you download it? I don't see any mechanism within the Fritz 17 gui to update a specific engine.

I know, and have no control over it. Assuming you already installed Fat Fritz in it, when you open the GUI at the bottom right you will see a pop-up asking you if you want to download an update for Fat Fritz.

Better than that: I ran Kiudee's tuner for 7 straight days on it to find its own 'Kiudee' settings.

Thanks, I had to open and close Fritz a couple of times before the update showed up.

At the moment, I am doing the Leelenstein 14 testrun for my small performance-list, you posted here. In around 4 days, the testrun should end, then Fat Fritz 1.1 will be the next testrun (need 6 days...) So, if all works well, the result of Fat Fritz 1.1 should go online in 10-11 days from now on my website.
