Clocks missing on Fritz 17?

Post by h1a8 »

When I running an engine match the time clocks are missing. Yet when I'm not running engine matches (I.e. I'm playing against the computer) then I can see the clocks.

How can I run engine matches and see the clocks for both engines?

Once the engine match in underway there is no view tab.
The view tab is in normal mode (I have clock window checked already).

I have a similar problem. Until a few weeks ago, my Time Clocks always worked in Infinite Analysis mode. Now they don't work at all. I suspect a Fritz GUI upgrade stopped them for some reason.

Nonetheless, I'd like to have my clocks operate during Infinite Analysis. This is helpful when I see the latest iteration completed after 5 minutes, but 15+ minutes have elapsed. This suggests something is wrong, or I'm experiencing Fail Highs/Lows.

Sincerely,

I reverted to update 14 - last one where the clocks worked in IA.

Make sure you are up-to-date in patches, and if so, try Restoring to Defaults.
