Strange weak result of Igel 2.7.0 here, compared to my testrun, in which Igel 2.7.0 scores on an Elo-Level with RofChade 2.3. Seems, that Igel is not so strong versus weaker opponents, I guess.

No AVX2 support on that CPU ? Volodymyr says that costs at least 40 Elo if that is the case
.

Opinions expressed here are my own, and not necessarily those of the CCRL Group.

The given cpu for the 60s +0.6s list has avx2

Code: Select all

Time control: 60 seconds / game + 0.6 seconds / move

Playing conditions

CPU: Dual Intel Xeon E5-2670v3 @ 2.6 GHz, 24 Cores

Yes. The web page here doesn't mention the V3

Playing conditions
CPU: Dual Intel Xeon E5-2670 @ 2.6 GHz
So I got the wrong CPU from the Intel site.
