The “Corresponding Source” for a work in object code form means all the source code needed to generate, install, and (for an executable work) run the object code and to modify the work, including scripts to control those activities.

"No, you must supply the source code that corresponds to the binary. Corresponding source means the source from which users can rebuild the same binary."
Where can I download the Fat Fritz 2 network? I don't see it on the github.

I see. Just wanted to add that if I try to build a large net like this I won't let classical eval to interrupt it. To be more effective, larger evals must be pure.
If there is only one file and that is binary, dkappe, everything is code. Or this means I can rename it, name myself as an author right next to a general authors word and sell it by just adding one more eval term.
The net and engine might be covered by different licenses, as is the case with Stockfish (GPLv3) and the stockfish networks (creative commons).
Fat Titz by Stockfish, the engine with the bodaciously big net. Remember: size matters. If you want to learn more about this engine just google for "Fat Titz".

I’m in the process of training up a compatible version of Frosty. Let me know where I should mail the DVD when I’m done.Gian-Carlo Pascutto wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 10:00 pm https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0.html

It's always a good idea to actually check the license of the software you're selling.
That said, given that this link still exists: https://shop.chessbase.com/en/products/ ... or_version,
the idea of enforcing the license of Stockfish is obviously 100% a laughing matter, with that I can't disagree.

Comments like these are confusing:

I see the Shop page says it is from Albert Silver, the comment above made it seem as if you were involved. But I understand now you were just trolling, got it.

Nope. I’ve certainly helped with some scripts and advice, but I do all of my chess development and net training for free. If I were to sell my work, however, then I would be a thief and a terrible person. The GPL is not anti business or anti profit. Quite the opposite. It just seems that in chess circles, profit is viewed as evil.Gian-Carlo Pascutto wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 10:45 pmComments like these are confusing:

Wish it was a Fritz 17 add-on like FF1, $150 seems a bit steep. Curious to see results.Jouni wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 12:23 pm https://de.chessbase.com/post/fat-fritz ... e-nummer-1

If there are any changes they do have to release the Fat Fritz 2 source, but if its like Fat Fritz 1 then the changes seemed mostly cosmetic.Gian-Carlo Pascutto wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 10:00 pm Where can I download the Fat Fritz 2 network? I don't see it on the github.
I do not know the legality of the nets though if they generated their own, I think technically they can sell it as a separate product. It's copyrightable data, like an egtb.

Possibly. At least add a message publicising what Chessbase has done here.Frank Quisinsky wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 1:18 pm Rybka, Houdini and now this one!
The question is:
Should I delete the links to Chessbase from the webpage?
Other products are really good (example: Chessbase database).
