Houdini 1.5 v Rybka 4 at long time control

I think M Ansari is right about the stall bug. You can for instance also see better performance of Rybka 4.1 in the CEGT list 40/20.
Rybka 4.1 4CPU - 3253 and 4.0 - 3218. Houdini 1.5 4CPU has 3274 so thats just21 ELO difference at that time level, so at long time control they could be just equal in strenght.
So Pal I would really appreciate another 200 games match between Houdini 1.5 and Rybka 4.1
After that match Robert Houdart will hopefully has an Houdini 2.0 which could be just again 30 -40 Elo better than Houdini 1.5

Hi Pal,

Well finally "the Big Surprise" slowly disappeared and the winner, as usual, was statistics... 8-)
Our enthousiasm for the underdog was genuine, as sometimes happens in sport events, but now reality has taken over.
Another match with the new Rybka v Houdini somehow feels less urgent than it did 2 weeks ago...
