Following on the recent AlphaGo Zero paper, there is also a short paper by Tristan Cazenave on Residual Networks for Computer Go recently published in IEEE Transactions on Computational Intelligence and AI in Games

This seems to be pre Alpha Go Zero. Since the Zero paper also used residual nets, and this paper doesn't seem to mention it.
