Just dont use those phrases in the same paragraph ever again. If you do, I will have to bring out my true self.geots wrote:Tony Thomas wrote:geots wrote:Hi Bill. Did you get my email. I have not been able to log onto the site you posted and would very much like the pgn's for the tournement.
Heres hoping you or someone else will email them to me.
Thanks
Bill
Best,
Hi Tony. It was horrible. I dont ever want to think of it again. Surgery was very "iffy" because i was secreting so much fluid that they would have had a hard time keeping the fluids from getting to my lungs if they sedated me properly. After working with a 7 foot tube stuck up my nose and all around and downward- they finally broke it loose. They wanted me to stay in the hospital longer to run some tests to make sure no holes had been punctured in my esophagus or anywhere- but i signed the paper saying i was leaving ADA (Against Doctors' Advice) and brought my ass to the house. Just missed you and couldnt stand it any longer
Hilarious, chew your food George.

Right click and highlight the text and press the B(bold) on the top right next to i for italics. I thought I should make up something to help you recover from the shame of getting a piece of steak stuck on your throat. I am guessing that the incident didnt happen at a steakhouse??geots wrote:Tony Thomas wrote:Just dont use those phrases in the same paragraph ever again. Happened at home. I know how to highlight in black- i just did not know a person could do it to any replies other than his own.

We learn something new everyday. Did you know that Ibuprofen got two enantiomers due to a chiral carbon in the alfa position? I didnt know it until I read about it few weeks ago. I also didnt know that I was supposed to give out stuff to customers if they asked for it, until someone called the corporate office and complained about me on tuesday.

George
Thank you for the pgns. They did come through. I am truly sorry to hear about you illness and hope you make a full recovery soon.
Over the years I have been creating two sets of books, one of white and one for black. I only use games that were won, no draws or just plain resigns. I still have a few years more work before I will use them or even make them public. As a general rule I won't use a pgn of a winner whos ELO is less then 2400.
Once agan. Thank you.

Very glad you got them, Bill. Kirill is working at the moment updating the CCRL site, and none of us can reach it at this time. Hopefully it will be fixed and back up soon. Good luck with your project.
Best,
