I do not claim that bishop is equal more than 4 pawns but based on the last 2 games black without 4 pawns could win 1.5-0.5 against white without bishop.

Maybe not having pawns gave black developement advantage but I cared to give white the first move that may be not enough compensation but still it seems bishop equal clearly more than 3.2 pawns.

With less pieces on the board the 4 pawns may win and 3 pawns can draw against bishop.

I can tell you what I did to assign single values to each piece. I took millions of positions, applied the static evaluation of my engine, and for each piece on the board removed it and evaluated the position again. The difference was added up, and the piece values I got are these:
Pawn: 1
Knight: 3.8
Bishop: 3.85
Rook: 5.2
Queen: 10.7

You can probably do this with different kinds of evaluations (static, quiesce search, full alpha-beta-searches, neural networks, humans, etc.), and each of the resulting piece values will be correct for the used playing strategy. After all, the value of a piece is only so good as the player who uses it. So for beginners, there might not be a measurable difference in value between bishop and knight, while for a grandmaster there could be.

Here are the values that I gave to pieces in movei many years ago(I did not give a fixed value but a value for every square).

A pawn that promoted is a queen so I gave it huge value in the last rank and I think that often a bishop is more than 3.5 pawns based on my values.
There are also positional evaluation for example for passed pawns and for weak pawns and for mobility.

Stockfish is free source code but it is based on NNUE and not normal evaluation and I did not look at the code recently so I am not sure if it is clear
what are the piece values of it.
