I post this also in a separate thread so that none of our many DOS-oldies fans can overlook it!
Dave Kittinger was so nice and gave his permission to make his DOS chessprogram WChess 1.05 available here, many thanks!
So here's my package - I've removed the copy-protection and of course also the user-info that is written into the EXE at the installation process (I just changed the name to 'David Kittinger', what else )
Thanks pal, for the file! I already downloaded and made it work, bgut...how can I set it, levels, and other things?
I have only a screen with the board an T1 level and I see no way to change that.
Actually,I will include this great chess program in my permanent rating list

Of course, Dave!
If it doesn't work as it should then it's certainly my fault - maybe you've implemented additional clever traps which I've just overlooked (although this is quite unlikely, because it has run here already for many years without any problems).
So if you find your sources anytime, of course a 'new' version with a correctly removed copy-protection would certainly be appreciated.
