Perhaps I should file a bug report but Toga's time losses

Something is definitely broken

Yes. I also noticed here that the engine wiill only use the polyglot book once and the rest will crash over and over again till you restart Arena . So definitely, don't use polyglot book using Arena. I've not tested the engine yet on other GUI.

I haven't checked the code thoroughly but I'm only certain that Jerry edited the evaluation functions. I guess the engine just needs some debugging.

Jerry released this beta due to many requests for testing. It's understandable. Let's hope that we fix this for normal testing. I'll also recheck again my compiles.

Just after writing the right pfad for the bitbases directory
in Arena.cfg, Toga II 1.4.3b2 JD DM plays smoothly.
